Would the planet not end up pretty stinky with all those Silent corpses people keep forgetting to clean up? And can't the Silents lightning people? I'm looking forward to next weeks too, nothing like a hot murderous siren to lighten the mood!
(Apologies for the lengthy responses btw)zhoomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00283679918840596440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24714950877388663.post-74325505217729667432011-05-01T23:24:43.703-07:002011-05-01T23:24:43.703-07:00@Zhoom
I did watch it as soon as it was aired.. b...@Zhoom

I did watch it as soon as it was aired.. but I didn't want to comment on it because somebody is bound to be pissed at me.
In my humble opinion the last episode is the weakest episode Moffat has ever delivered.. but I want to remind we are talking to moffat scala here, everything his ever done is above average good writing, everythin he's done is amazing so he can afford slips.
My promblem with that episode is that it's to crammed and to over ambitiouse there is enough material in there to spand over the double amount of time and the pacing would have been better, there is tons and tons of good stuff in there but it is to crammed.. and well.. I didn't like the docs solution to the problem.. I am just looking forward to relax with the pirates next week, I honestly need that.Sofie Liv Pedersenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17665523115278399752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24714950877388663.post-71296337199461697612011-04-30T15:09:51.212-07:002011-04-30T15:09:51.212-07:00I won't spoil anything if you haven't seen...I won't spoil anything if you haven't seen this weeks yet but my thoughts: freakin awesome!

As for RTD's writing, I certainly don't think he's a bad writer but there were a few niggles that got in my way. I didn't like the way he wrote Rose (the only episodes I found her more tolerable were the ones written by other people) and I didn't really care for the way he'd sometimes try to go "epic".

For those who didn't think he was a good writer, watch "Midnight" again. Exactly.zhoomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00283679918840596440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24714950877388663.post-73021215003677576252011-04-24T06:41:34.265-07:002011-04-24T06:41:34.265-07:00Drake@
Thanks.
Yeah.. There really isn't th...Drake@

Thanks.
Yeah.. There really isn't that many tely shows worth watching repeatedly for me.

I think I can number them in my head which ones I fell like I can go back to and watch. It would be. "Doctor who." "Star Trek tos." "Batman TAS." "Justice League." and "Darkwing Duck."

Does are the only one really worth for me to be re-wathching over and over. and out of them, Doctor who have the more details, the last season is probably the first exsperience I had where I was able to watch the same bloody episode five times and still be able to pick up something new. the amount of small details and hints are just huge.Sofie Liv Pedersenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17665523115278399752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24714950877388663.post-91634667873799571572011-04-24T05:34:07.534-07:002011-04-24T05:34:07.534-07:00Great post by the way, very passionate argument ^^...Great post by the way, very passionate argument ^^Drake Sigarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07472926482579087987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24714950877388663.post-37905561738478302662011-04-24T05:33:37.492-07:002011-04-24T05:33:37.492-07:00A modern series of Doctor Who is one of those thin...A modern series of Doctor Who is one of those things you view repeatedly, and pick up an ingeniously tied in plotline or detail which you hadn’t noticed before. I’m kicking myself in the head for missing this latest episode and trying to find it on BBC I-Player at the moment.Drake Sigarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07472926482579087987noreply@blogger.com
